Student Athlete Performance Training in Las Vegas at LVSP
Looking for a competitive edge?
Student athlete performance training is often referred to as sport specific training. We hear the term sport specific training get thrown around a lot. Unfortunately, this is a very misleading term. There is no such thing as sport specific training. Unless you mean practice. After all, lifting weights in a certain way will not directly improve the mechanics of your golf swing. Only working on your swing will do that. That’s why the student athlete performance training in Las Vegas we offer is different.
But we do know that focusing on certain muscle groups or types of training translate well to improving your ability to perform in your sport. We make you a better athlete, and improving strength, flexibility, balance, and quickness will benefit you in any sport or activity. Our individualized sports performance training is designed specifically for athletes preparing for the upcoming season, gaining an advantage in the off-season, and keeping their skills sharp during the season.

keeping young athletes safe
One of the main focuses in the development of young athletes is injury prevention. Through careful assessment with the Functional Movement Screen, Coach Rob can help ensure a long playing career for your athlete. 100% injury free is the goal as safety is always the number one concern at Las Vegas Sports Performance. However, injuries cannot be avoided completely. We can train to lower the incidence. While it's true that all players need to be able to run, block, and tackle, football is highly specialized by position. We take football training far beyond the standard weight room, to a place beyond bench press and squats to unique exercises and movements that enhance your game so you can secure your spot on the field.
A mix of explosive speed and endurance, soccer is about gaining separation from your opponent. Whether you are a defender or a goalie, possessing superior quickness and agility over your opponent is what separates good soccer players from great ones. Our soccer training will have you ready for the pitch.
Our tennis training program balances the mix of aerobic and anaerobic endurance, explosive strength and power, and quickness and agility required to excel through repeated bursts of high-intensity activity.
Explosive power is just as important for golf as it is in football. Our program focuses on improving balance, and also places a heavy emphasis on both rotational movements and generating that power you need to get your drives closer to the pin. We train to help you be just as fresh on 18 as you were on one.
